Tabular alumina is a completely recrystallized α-Al2O3 sintered at ultra-high temperature slightly lower than its melting point after batching, grinding and molding of imported alumina. ;Intracrystalline and intercrystalline are mainly closed pores with uniform distribution, high bulk density, low apparent pores and water absorption, reducing the amount of liquid used in re-products; The unique sodium removal process makes the content of alkaline oxides in the product significantly higher.
It has excellent physical properties such as high refractoriness, good thermal shock stability, low thermal shrinkage and good thermal load strength. At the same time, the high purity avoids the contamination of the system by impurities, and is an ideal raw material for making advanced refractory materials, ceramic materials and insulating materials.
Application
Tabular alumina can be used as the main component in aluminum-carbon, aluminum-magnesium-carbon, magnesium-aluminum-carbon, magnesium spinel, and aluminum-chromium refractory bricks, and can also be introduced into high-alumina refractory bricks as enriched alumina components. Among the shaped refractories, it can be widely used in steel, casting, ceramics and other industries, and the application in the steel industry almost covers the whole process of iron and steel making.
