Product Description 

White Fused Alumina (WFA) is obtained from the fusion of  high purity calcined alumina powder in electric arc furnace by melting cooling above 2000℃, after crushing, shaping, deiron and then by screening. It has high purity, good self-sharpening, acid and alkali resistance, high temperature thermal stability, low toughness and other properties. It is slightly harder than brown corundum.

White Fused Alumina, also known as White Fused Aluminium Oxide, is named for its white color and belongs to the category of fused artificial corundum. It is an important mineral with chemical and high temperature stability, high purity, high hardness and good fire resistance. The abrasives made with it are suitable for manufacturing ceramics, resin-consolidated abrasives, grinding, polishing, sandblasting, precision casting (corundum for precision casting), etc.

Application

White Fused Alumina has a white or slightly bluish-gray color, and its high purity and crystalline structure make it highly resistant to chemical and physical abrasion. It is used in many applications including grinding and cut off wheels, refractories and ceramic shapes, coated abrasives, investment casting shells, laminates, coatings, blasting abrasives, lapping and polishing, etc. And it has excellent cutting properties and is ideal for use in grinding, cutting, grinding, and polishing various materials, including metals, ceramics, glass, and plastics.
