High density low porosity sintered tabular alumina artificial corundum has high quality, good hexagonal sheet α -alumina crystals. Tabular Alumina is a pure sintered corundum that undergoes thorough shrinkage without the addition of any additives such as MgO or B2O3. It has coarse and well-developed crystals α- The crystal structure of Al2O3 has a content of over 99%. The plate-like crystal structure has small pores with many closed pores, and the porosity is roughly equivalent to that of fused alumina.
