Cast Basalt Tiles
Cast basalt tile is made by adding certain additives (amphibolite, dolomite, fluorite, etc.) and crystallization agents (chromite powder, etc.) to diabase, basalt, industrial waste (metallurgical waste, chemical waste, and coal ore), and then undergoing high-temperature melting, casting, crystallization, annealing and other processes. The commonly used anti-corrosion engineering for brick lining is diabase cast stone slab.
The SiO2 content of the cast stone slab is not high, but due to its high-temperature melting and crystallization, it forms a dense and uniform structure of ordinary diabase crystals. At the same time, due to the interaction between the cast stone and acid/alkali, a layer of silicon aluminum compound film gradually forms on the surface. This film reaches a certain thickness, that is, a protective film is formed between the cast stone surface and the acid/alkali medium, and finally the chemical corrosion of the medium tends to zero. This is the main reason why cast stone can resist corrosion to a high degree. Cast basalt tiles are corrosion-resistant to various acids, bases, salts, and organic media, except for hydrofluoric acid, fluorine-containing media, hot phosphoric acid, and molten alkali. The advantages of cast stone slabs are high strength and hardness, good wear resistance, low porosity, and difficulty in penetrating the medium.

Wear resistance
The wear resistance of cast basalt tile is dozens of times that of ordinary steel and more than ten times that of manganese steel.
Corrosion resistance
The raw material for casting stone slabs is basalt, which is not corroded by acid or alkali, and epoxy resin is used at the joints.

Ultra thin board
In response to market demand, our factory has developed ultra-thin cast basalt tiles. The thinnest can reach 14mm. (Suitable for raw coal bunkers and some equipment that requires anti-corrosion and wear resistance, it can reduce the infrastructure construction cost caused by the increase in foundation load).
Smoothness
Slipperiness is beneficial for reducing wear, as cast stone is 20-30% larger than steel plate, which is beneficial for improving transportation capacity and preventing scaling.

Mainly used in industries such as thermal power plants, coal mines, mining, metallurgy, chemical engineering, and automotive brake fields.
In coal mines and thermal power plants, they are used in round coal bunkers, coal hoppers, scraper conveyors, and slag extractors.
In steel plants and coking plants, they line ore tanks, hoppers, iron gutters, slag chutes, and dry quenching liners.
In mining, they line chutes and screening troughs; in chemical plants, they line acid and alkali tanks and medium tanks.
In automotive braking, they are used in brake test fields; in environmental protection, they line spray towers; and in industries such as glass production and casting, they line mixing machine plates.

Precautions for Cast basalt tiles Before Construction
Before construction, inspect the shell and remove debris and oil stains.
Apply epoxy slurry and immediately sprinkle a small amount of quartz sand to enhance adhesion.
The cast stone slabs should be affixed using a kneading and squeezing method to ensure a full bond.
The bonding surface of the cast stone slab should be kept clean and free of debris. The manufacturer of the power plant coal bunker's cast stone slabs should ensure a secure bond.
For casting stone slab lining, the bonding layer is typically 1-1.5cm thick and the mud joint width is 3-8mm. For casting stone slabs in R150 ash ditches, strike the higher points of the four corners with a rubber hammer to ensure flatness. Any excess cement should be smoothed out with a putty knife.
Workers should wear rubber gloves during construction. When installing the cast stone chute, masonry should be done from low to high, and there should be no deficit between the boards. First, the bottom plate should be glued and then the two side boards should be laid.
