Brown Fused Alumina
Description
Technical Parameters
1. Description of Brown fused alumina
Brown fused alumina is made from Calcined Bauxite, also known as Brown corundum, also called as emery,
its main chemical composition is AL2O3, and its content is 97% -70%. It also contains a small amount of
brown corundum abrasive stones such as Fe, Si, Ti.
It is hard and tough material, used in manufacturing of grinding wheels (both vitrified and resin bonded) and coated products. These grains are also widely used for shot blasting and polishing media.
