Tabular alumina is a pure sintered alpha alumina material that is fully densified by rapid sintering at temperatures above 1900 ° C without any sintering aids. The outstanding feature of low Na2O tabular alumina lies in its strict control over Na2O content. Excessive Na2O will soften the crystal structure at high temperatures, reduce the refractoriness, and accelerate the corrosion of slag and alkaline steam.
HUAO's tabular alumina is generated at a temperature close to its melting point to complete crystal transformation, resulting in α - Al₂O₃ particles with a size ranging from 50 μ m to 400 μ m.
