Dry pressing molding adopts pressure to press ceramic powder into a certain shape of the blank body, its essence is under the action of external force, powder particles in the mold close to each other, and by internal friction firmly combined, maintain a certain shape.
The advantages of dry press molding are accurate size of blank, simple operation, easy to realize mechanization, dry press blank moisture and binder content is less, drying and firing shrinkage is smaller.
It is mainly used to form simple shape products, and the aspect ratio is small, die wear caused by increased production costs is the deficiency of dry pressing molding.
zirconia ceramic hot die casting molding
Hot die casting molding is at a higher temperature (60~100℃) to make the ceramic powder and binder (paraffin) mixture, to obtain the slurry for hot die casting, the slurry is injected into the metal mold under the action of compressed air, pressure retaining cooling, demoulding to get the wax billet.
After the wax billet is dewaxed under the protection of inert powder, the blank is then sintered into porcelain at high temperature. The blank formed by hot die casting is accurate in size, uniform in internal structure, less die wear, high production efficiency, suitable for all kinds of raw materials.
The main defect in dry pressing blank is lamination, which is caused by the internal friction between powder and the friction between powder and die wall, resulting in pressure loss inside the blank body.
